Montreal-based turntablist A-Trak, a former DMC World DJ Champion, is no stranger to the ambidextrous deck skills needed to transform run-of-the-mill club styles into ear-grabbing mash-up symphonies. Fresh off his role as touring DJ for Kanye West, A-Trak has unleashed INFINITY + 1, one of two mixes simultaneously released by the DJ early in 2009. Bridging the realms of underground dance music with the more populist strains of club hip-hop, A-Trak storms through 21 tracks in a breathless, technically brilliant ride that encompasses everything from vintage Italo disco to dirty electro-house to Baltimore-style bounce.
