My Darkest Days - Matt Walst (vocals, rhythm guitars), Brendan McMillan (bass, backing vocals), Doug Oliver (drums, backing vocals), Reid Henry (keyboard, backing vocals), Sal Coz Costa (lead guitar, backing vocals) - had a dream, they said, of hearing their single played in stripper clubs across North America and going to #1, and their dream came true. "Porn Star Dancing" was co-produced by Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, who first signed My Darkest Days to his Mountainview/604 Records. "Porn Star Dancing" made the rounds in two different versions, both featuring cameo appearances by Kroeger: a rock version with guitarist Zakk Wylde, and a pop mix featuring Def Jam labelmate Ludacris. Kroeger went on to co-produce (with Joey Moi) MDD's self-titled debut album, released September 2010.
