Rubblebucket - Triangular Daisies ( Audio CD ) 2010

Their recent EP, Triangular Daisies, starts off with the mellow title track. Kalmia’s voice draws you in, and it feels good to follow her along the song’s bouncy, lazy melody. Whenever this song comes on my iPod, I have a strange urge to go sit on my front stoop in the warm sun and do a paint by number. The next song on the album is a cover of the Beatles’ Rubber Soul classic “Michelle.” It even got a cool nod by Paste Magazine as they recently placed it on their list of 5o Best Beatles Covers of All Time.
