When I played the recording, I discovered an incredible story recited by an unknown artist, with Sun Ra going beyond the call of duty on Keyboard. Included are two complete lengthy performances from this 1967 session. The space music Sun Ra creates fits perfectly with the recitation of the text. I Gotta Get Away is a part of this extended poetic and musical work. The premise is about how a space alien has totally had it with planet Earth and seems to be ready to go berserk. The Alien details everything on all levels.
