The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main St. (Audio CD - 2010) [Original Recording Remastered] [Super Deluxe Edition]

The Rolling Stones’ classic 1972 album Exile on Main St. gets a long-awaited deluxe reissue in 2010. An album this legendary deserves a lavish reissue and it gets one -- the album proper is remastered and available in three separate editions, the first being a single disc of the original double album and the second expanded to include a disc of outtakes, some previously bootlegged, some newly discovered. It’s trumped by the Super Deluxe Edition, which augments these two CDs with a DVD containing a documentary called Stones in Exile including rare archival footage and new interviews, plus a re-pressing of the double album on vinyl and replicas of the postcards enclosed from the original vinyl edition. This is all housed in a hardcover 50-page book, making this one of the most lavish reissues ever released.
