This ninth solo album from the Chicago-born rapper Carl Mitchell follows 2010's The Perfect Storm and like that record, it features production from the Legendary Traxster, who has been a frequent collaborator since Twista's 2009 departure from Atlantic Records. Sessions began for The Dark Horse as far back as 2012 and the single "It's Yours" -- a collaboration with Tia London -- is featured here.
