Vera Bila & Kale - Kale Kalore (Audio CD - 1999)

A blend of Django Reinhart and Eastern European folk with the most incredible five part vocal harmonies. Soulful, fun, jazzy, folky. They are unknown in the US but have rapidly growing recognition in Europe (outside of Czech republic). Tight harmony and amazing rhythm with 4 guitars and a tambourine; virtually all of the music they write themselves. It is Vera her husband, and a bunch of cousins, all from Czech R. A bit short on time compared to most of today's C.D’s; but the measure of worth is on the quality of the music.
