2012 sophomore album from the Pennsylvania rockers. When the band finished the Uproar Tour in May 2011, they entered the studio with producer Howard Benson (3 Doors Down, Seether, Three Days Grace) and tracked the album. The Strange Case Of... marks Halestorm's first release since last year's ReAniMate: The CoVeRs eP, which saw the band putting their unique stamp on a diverse collection of classic songs. Sophomore album and follow-up to 2009's eponymous debut from the American hard rock outfit fronted by sassy maneater 'Lzzy' Hale, who ironically reappropriates and inverts the ridiculous, macho sexism of 80s hair metal bands like Poison and Skid Row. Full of thrashing beats, chugging riffs, squealing solos and Lzzy's throaty, powerful vocals, the album features all four songs from the Hello, It's Mz. Hyde EP.
