Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1995 thriller Dolores Claiborne directed by Taylor Hackford and starring Kathy Bates, Jennifer Jason Leigh and David Strathairn. The 2-CD set features the expanded original score from the Castle Rock Entertainment production composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, Spider-Man, Alice in Wonderland, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), including almost an hour of previously unreleased music.
