It wasn't until Shug did a bid in Walpole prison that Guru inspired him to get serious about the rap game. Big Shug has appeared on most Gangstarr albums and has toured the world many times with them. He is best known for being part of the Militia. The Militia consists of Big Shug, Freddie Foxxx, and Guru. This CD comprises his classic hits as well as new songs and freestyles. Most of the production is by DJ Premier and it is also hosted and mixed by DJ Premier.
