While many will criticize Piece of Paradise as nothing more than a pop lite collection, this debut from Canada's Sky exhibits a keen understanding of what the pop music formula is. Nowhere on here will you find "classic" compositions, but what the listener will find is a perfect soundtrack to a great lazy day and a desire for inoffensive Top 40-ready songs. The beauty of this album is its ebb and tide of content. An impressive first attempt for the photogenic Canadian duo which should only mark the beginning of bigger things to come.
